How to gain self confidence after humiliated.

  When I was younger there are times when I get humiliated in school or other places. I get mortified and regret what I have done, wishing that there was a time-machine or a chronosphere I could use. The embarassment lasted for a long time, I keep remembering it everytime I go to bed.
   I just couldn't stop thinking about it and I don't know about you but I laughed like an idiot eventhough it wasn't funny. Even if my friends or family tried to cheer me up and I myself tried to cheer me up with music or games, it didn't seem to work often. I knew I had to defeat this uncomfortable memory.
   A few years ago, I found that thing happening to other people too. Something went wrong on that performance, that person was so sad, we couldn't cheer him up at all. And after a while I realized something, something I could use to cheer me up. At that time he was sad and we all know that but that didn't turned into a memory that comes on the first page of a news paper. I was a sad memory but it wasn't strong anymore.
   So everytime I got myself humilited to anyone, I give them time to process another bigger news and I know that they would fell the same way I felt to that person, so it works. Nothing seemed to bother me anymore.

College Bus Incident

 Dated 8th July 2024 Complaints were made by senior most accusing 1st and 3rd sem students being disrespectful, not giving off seats to their elders. This seemed to be the last warning for us  I was the first one to enter the bus i wouldn't lie if i say i saw everything but i didn't hear much because well... it was a bus. I was in the back standing as the girls were only allowed to sit. Being a gentleman is not hard at all. But i started hearing some words evidently indicating a quarrel. The seats of some were empty but i wouldn't say 'all' as the bus was filled densely.  I also noticed that the girls were standing in the mid-path of the bus because they were standing. Maybe because they've heard what happened, maybe not. Now i don't pick sides. But i do know the seats behind me were empty the whole time Got filled only after the bus started .
